" A M.O.M's Prayer"

 Thank you, Lord, for blessing me as a mother of multiples,
for it is through these children that I truly see the abundant joy and beauty of life.
  I pray you will walk with me always
 and give me the strength to be the parent I know I should
and the courage to be the parent I know you want me to be.

 In today's busy world when choices must be made and tasks left undone,
never let my children be that choice.  As children grow too quickly,
 remind me how wonderful they are and always let their laughter
 be the music to which I dance.

 Let me not forget that these blessings are but children
 and grant me restraint that I do not judge them harshly.
Show me the way to tolerance and wisdom.
Guide me that I might discipline my children with a tempered hand,
 a warm heart, and an open mind.  Help me to be quick with praise
 yet slow to criticize.  Give me the patience to allow my children to grow
 and the grace to forgive their mistakes.  Make my arms strong enough
to shelter my children from harm yet gentle enough
to comfort them in times of despair.

 Use me Lord, to nurture the creativity and innocence in my children.
Through my spirit, inspire my children with love, mercy, and compassion
 that they shall walk in the glory of Your light forever.
